CHILDREN

(In accordance with Pennsylvania law, required clearances are maintained by all staff and volunteers. )

Sunday School 
LPC offers Sunday School for children aged 3 and up. Our Pre-K and elementary curriculum focuses on God’s grace and our response in gratitude. Children learn through storytelling, music, play and art. Classes start at 9:45am and end at 10:45am.

Worship
Children of all ages are always welcome in Worship. Worship bags and children’s bulletins are available. We believe that children learn about Worship through practice.

Nurseries 
Nurseries are available for children 5 and under during Worship. For safety and comfort our staffed nurseries are divided by age:
– The infant/toddler nursery is for children aged 2 years and younger
– The Pre-K nursery is for children aged 3-5.

YOUTH

Sunday School
Youth grades 6-12 are ready to take their Faith Formation to the next level. They meet every Sunday morning for Bible Study, some video-based study, and conversations about real-life situations.

Church Leadership Mission
There are many opportunities for youth to be involved in the life of the church. Youth serve as ushers, lectors, choir members and as Deacons. Our youth are actively engaged in local mission projects as well as occasional mission trips.

ADULT

Faith formation is not limited to children and youth! Latrobe Presbyterian Church offers several options for continued growth as Christians.

Sunday Mornings:

9:00am – Early Riser Adult Sunday School meets in the Library. This class is primarily designed for choir members who are busy rehearsing during the regular Sunday School hour. Others are always welcome. The coffee is on!

9:45am – Adult Sunday School meets downstairs in the Oliver Room. This class studies a wide range of topics incorporating Bible study, Theology, and Christian Living.

Midweek Groups:

Wednesday Morning Bible Study meets the first and third Wednesday of each month at 10am in the Oliver room.

Men’s Bible Study meets each Thursday evening at 6:30pm in the Oliver Room.

Lenten Soup and Study meets each Wednesday during Lent at 6pm for soup followed by a video based study. Childcare is available with advance notice.
